I have noticed that the driver side wiper arm has been rubbing the underside edge of the bonnet. I have read that another owner also noticed this.

It only collides when the arm is operating (vertical position)

Unfortunately I was too late and it has taken a lot of metal away. The fault is caused, simply by the securing nut unscrewing itself. It is not a lock nut and  if it undoes, the spring in the blade mechanism forces the arm up.

If you just pull off the plastic cap hiding the nut, (I think it was a 15mm socket) it’s worth checking and possibly using some loctite on the thread.

I tightened mine down two or three turns before any resistance and it lowered the arm down by half an inch!

Hopefully Jaguar will read this and take it further…. ?🙏

It has messed up the bonnet on mine ☹️If you look at the second picture you can see the under edge of the bonnet worn away☹️☹️.
