When i bought the car from Joe's Garage in Sweden i had the message popping up in the dash just before leaving the garage and heading to France.

 

The guy from the garage immediately plugged the car to the computer and erased the warning message. He promised to send me 2 new sensors in case this happen again.

And it happened again, and i later discovered that this is a well known problem on our XKs.

 

So he was professionnal enough to honour what he promised and send me the 2 new sensors at home.

 

By inspecting the car i quickly figured out that there is no other way than removing the front bumper in order to access theses sensors.

 

I'm attaching here the pictures. No programmation necessary once the newer sensors are in place, as we can see on the picture they look a little bit different compared to the older faulty ones.
