Hi,anyone out there swapped there exhaust system for the adamesh stage 2 middle section and the stage 1 rear back box  removal,my 2007 xkr portfolio already has the middle section done and was thinking about removing the back as well and replacing it with the adamesh rear pipes but wondering if it might be too loud, anyone done this, adamesh say a few customers have done both but they don't recommend it because  of the loudness, anyone out there done it?love to listen to a video of it if you have

Hi Trevor, I would listen to the guys at Adamesh. One stage is fine but the 2 x stages together are simply "TOO LOUD", plus you will have continuous pops and bangs on overrun and down shifts. Okay to start with, but when you can't turn it off, it can become very wearing.

For info, there is another thread on here where the owner is looking for a cure to stop the pops and bangs.

Thanks for the advice, that's what I was wondering, will it be to loud and will it pass the mot i know it would be easy to swap it round for the mot but it's a bit of a hassle,I would love to hear it before shelling out nearly £500 then hating it

Hi Trevor, if you go to Paramount Performance, there are a number of Jaguar V8 upgrades featured on their website, including exhaust system changeouts with switchable straight through pipes. There are videos, with sound, included, you just need to search through the "Jaguar V8 Exhausts" to find them.
