Me again,

Is my gear knob supposed to be lit-up at night when the car lights are turned on ?

Only I can hardly see the design anymore (showing the gear positions) as the numbers are quite worn, although it doesn't bother me personally my wife says it's annoying as she doesn't drive it much so can never remember (as they are different to her car).
