Requirements:
1. ICTP ( display with 10.2 inch screen ) and updated to 19C or newer version. Mine is S22A as of currently
2. has installed low line uip and changed for a used or new mid/hi line uip ( With HDMI or HDMI + sim ). If you have mid or hi-line uip from factory, just visit the dealer or enable ccf config via module for carplay and android auto but most likely you already have the smartphone pack with latest update.
3. SDD with good quality cable ( ccf editing seems easy but bad cables can corrupt modules ). Some says that they are fine doing it with cheap Chinese clones. I would highly advise to use at least OEM mongoose or any other JRL accepted cable.
p.s. if you have any other display types installed please don't change ccf's with hope that it will just work, there is more to it and you will most likely break something that is expensive!

Overall it is actually quite simple mod to do.
1. It is possible to "install" android auto on low_line UIP but it will be buggy due to the UIP limitation, carplay won't work but there will be CP and AA modules available and show up on screen.
2. To do it correctly: It is required to change low to mid or hi-line uip. Mid and hi-line uip has apix2 cable for HDMI, it is not required. Although i am about to verify that for 100% as when i install my hi-line UIP without the apix2 cable.
3. Power cable needs to be modified as it differs from low line uip and the rest. I will attach photos when i have 100% fully completed the setup but it seems possible to splice wires or find a connector that fits. My Uip is coming with "cut of" wires as i bought it used and will make wire soldering simple.
4. CCF change.. well here comes the part that no-one has clearly stated or verified of what needs to be changed.
There are two settings to change in MY case scenario.
*. Enable carplay and android auto
*. Low line to Hi or mid line UIP

CCF values that need to be changed are:
connect and view module: fitted
front avio panel: Hi-line uip with sim
Update the ccf and learn incontrol touch variant.
I ended up paying for remote session but i would rather not risk the car for a brick.
I used chinese mangoose pro cable and removed 13th pin from it.

Also to mention HSD wire is not required, just the power cable for the hi line up. My wires were identical for + and - and so didn't take much to connect them together.
For xf to remove UIP panel, it's possible to do so from inside of the center console.
To get better access for wires: removing rear panel from 2nd row seat is simple: pry and pray to not break any clips.
