looking at getting 1st jag

Featured Replies

Hi all

i am looing at getting my 1st jag well its between the jag and another at the moment.. just depends on below

im looking at a x-type diesel ideally one with full leather, heated, elec seats and build in nav.

i also ideally need the built in bluetooth but looking on auto trader there are no cars that near to me that have the bluetooth especially around the 2003/04 years

is it possible to retrofit a bluetooth module to the car to get bluetooth?

also any tips of things to check out when purchasing a diesle xtype?

thanks

Grant

Hi Grant

I recommend getting a Parrot system installed.. excellent peice of kit that will import your contacts and also allows you to voice dial.

Enjoy the new car when you get it :)

hi grant,

im in exactly the same position as you were and funnily enough im after the exact same car :) let me know how you got on and if you found a buyers guide as im going to look at a 53 X Type Sport this weekend and dont want to get caught out.

i can personally vouch for the Parrot system, i had one installed to my 318Ci SE and it is brilliant! i shall be getting the same installed into my X Type if it doesnt have built in bluetooth.

can anyone direct me to a buyers guide?

thanks
