Hi all,

So, the kids are growing up, the Citroen (with the artifical horizon built in to the dashboard as standard!) was never on the driveway when I needed it and the wife throwing lines out like "We need a second car". What else was a man to do?!

A 54 plate S-type with low mileage and that marvellous diesel engine for sale almost at the end of the road now adourns my driveway.

Forty years ago I stared at my dentist's XJ. Ten years ago it was my friends XK. Now there's one here.

How good?! !Removed! marvellous! Not sure this smirk is ever going to wear off!
