I just thought I'd post this as a general comment, I know Jaguar dealers are expensive but I was looking on a motor engineering website. They had done extensive tests on genuine Jaguar parts which seemed to last much longer than substitute ones which I know there is probably a vast difference in price as there is in lubricants and stuff.

I got some engine Oil to the specification required by Jaguar and it was amazingly cheap compared to the Jaguar Oil, I think with the hardware one has got to may be take note of the above. Having so said I got a wonderful update on my navigation system for £35 where I think the Jaguar replacement was over £200
