Prior to buying , I did a Experian check/ Checked all its paper work ,Gave it a good look over,Took it for

Long but mixed test drive,Then drove back from Essex with my prize! and a massive smile on my face ,

I thought i had done well.. i didnt even try knocking the price down it was a steal

On researching my Cat my heart slumpt to the floor to learn of the legarcy of the xj8..the legendary terminal faults

[TIMING TENSIONERS,NIKELSIL LINNINGS,WATER PUMPS,THROTTLE BODYS.] to mention just a few.. My dream car has turned into a nightmare. The must be some postives to owning a xj8 cant find to many at the moment..Printdrive

Welcome Peter, Are you saying that you are having problems, or just worried what might happen, as it is from a dealer should be under warranty, also you could take out a warranty out so you are not left with an expensive bills, but do reviews on warranty companies

HI thanks for the reply.. The point i was making was, i wish i had joined the club before buying the car then i would have known about all these issues before buying

But fortunately for this club and it forums, theres some great advise thats enabled me to take some precautionary measures that will hopefully help me preserve the car , and enjoy a truly fantasic car
