Central Locking Problem.

Hi to all fellow Jaguar owners.

I have a Jaguar x-type saloon 2.5. 51 plate,I bought it in june 2012.

And one thing I have noticed is that the central locking dosn't do some things that it should do.

Yes it locks and unlocks from the key fob but, the indicators dont flash, and the doors do not lock automatically when you get over 5mph.

Maybe just silly things but I would like to get it working correctly. I only have one key and I changed the battery, but no difference.

Is this something I can change myself somehow or can it be plugged into a machine at a dealer and they change it that way, a bit like changing files on a computer???

your dealer will be able to reprograme that.. the last owner probably had it disabled.
