evening all..

had the jag bout 4 weeks now n loving it but im getting plagued with annoying problems..

the latest is im getting a strange groan from the brakes when slowing to
a standstill.doesnt happen all the time and only at walking pace.also
at a standstill with my foot on the brake i can feel the pedal drop
slightly under my foot..

weird??

i did strip n clean all the calipers
which were a bit tight but copper slipped em all then bled them in
order.a fair bit of air came out the final bleed n all seemed ok but
started to happen again not long after...

any ideas??

thanks

steve

Hi sidz150

the pedal dropping is ether a leak or the non return valve in master cylinder, As for the strange noise what sort of noise is it.

howdo dell..

theres deffo no leaks as ive had it on the ramps n checked underneath for peace of mind when i brought it..

its a weird noise mate..

like a pisssssshhhhhhhhhht...(dow laff) really cant explain it..

under normal braking its fine,i know the brakes aint too clever on jags but i think mine could be better..i was in a traffic jam coming home from work friday,i was rolling in neutral at a snails pace downhill and it did it consistantly..

clueless mate..
