Please can anyone help.. I own and drive a 2005 XJR and until today I loved it.. I've just been told i need 2 new catalytic converters at a price of £622 each plus vat. Can anyone recommend where to get these cheaper. Thanks in advance

Hi Trevor,

Tell us that you've done the basic google/ebay search for the catalytic converters?

Hi Trevor,

To be honest, I don't know a great deal about the XJ and I've only owned a Jag a little over 12 months.  As with anything like this always best to make sure the basics have been covered.

You could try some of the following:

http://britishparts.co.uk/t/jaguar/jaguar-xj-x350-xjr

http://www.sngbarratt.com/

http://www.justjagsuk.com/products/0/Search/?q=&make=&model=X350&cat=8

http://www.thejaguarshop.com/

But from what I've seen, unless you find someone who is breaking a similar model it looks like you may have to dig deep. :(  :(  :(

Have you looked through the classified section?

Good luck,

Dave
