S Type alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Hi, Im   quite new to Jaguar as a marque although I have owned a 1997 X300 a few years ago. I have just bought a 2000 S type 3.0 v6 SE with only 52,000 miles and full Jaguar history, what I want to know is; will alloy wheels from a X type fit on my S? The wheels in question are 17" x 7 et 52.5 my current wheels are 16" x 7.5 et 60, can anyone help me please?

Hi Andrew, and Welcome to the Club.

I get the impression that x type and s type wheels are interchangeable -- I could be wrong though.

My car has 18" wheels and my previous x type had 17" wheels which looked very similar.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your help. I decided to buy the wheels, will let you know what happens.

Regards,

Andrew

I would be interested, Andrew.

My first Jaguar was an x type with 17" wheels, which were an option as 16" wheels were standard.  My s-type has 18" wheels, which are also an option over the standard 17" wheels.

Peter.
