What a terrible thing to happen to a beautiful classic car.

Reader Arnie Web from Felbridge was en route to the Wiremill pub in Newchapel when he saw a collapsed garage, with the boot of an unfortunate car sticking out.

 

On closer inspection, he recognised it as a classic British sports car, the Jaguar E-Type.

He told the Courier & Observer: “I’m more of a Ferrari man myself but it’s a beautiful car. If that happened to my vehicle I would be almost suicidal.”
