Hi.

The illumination for the cd/radio/time display is so low I cannot hardly see it after dark. The heater display is fine. Is there a backlight I can replace or is the display an lcd?

 

Will I need to get a new front?

If its like the XK series, it will have two bulbs at the rear of the display, they are a ball ache to replace imho.....  

This was mentioned some time ago by another member. I had the same issue but with mine it was the climate unit. After scratching it accidentally, I replaced it with one from eBay for 25 quid. It sorted the problem, so it's definitely a fault in the unit rather than the supply.
