XK8 flat battery

Featured Replies

I have a 98 XK8 with a flat battery so can't use the key fob to get into either the boot or the car itself.  The key will also not work manually.  How can I gain access so that I can get to the battery or the inside of the car to release the bonnet catch?

hi steve thers 2 points on the car that you can unlock manualy . 1st is on the passenger door handell. thers a wee plastic bit that slides of letting you put the key from the fob in to unlock it then pop the bonnet open. second is behind the rear number plate. take it off thers a key point ther. allowing you to gain acsess to the battery wich is in the bulk head. failling that get the aa or rac . hope this has been helpfull charlie
