    Hi all apologies for the delay in responding. Took it to local jag specialist, they diagnosed it as being the fact the battery was replaced by last owner approx a year ago and not reset. They reset the battery to the car which fixed the windows, locks and folding mirrors [didn't even know these closed when you locked car]. Cost me £100.00 but at lease no replacement door / lock parts and am happy everything is tickety boo!
