I tried pressing the button at 60mph made no difference, cannot feel or hear a click when pressing the button so will look into cleaning if possible or replacing button.

Has anyone had this issue with the s type sports button, When I am driving along the red light on the sports button will light up without me touching it.I did not notice it on the test drive but did a couple of days after.I cannot tell if it's just the light coming on or if it is engaging sports mode by its self. As its the first jag I have owned and it seems to take off like a scalded cat sports mode on or off. I have floored it in all gears with sports mode on and off and a cannot feel any difference.Your thoughts on this, Please.Thankyou.

Cheers Joe for explaining that in detail for me. Looks like I will have to take it on the chin and pay the £300 to have a new one fitted.

Hello to everyone, First post on this site so go easy on me.I have been told by a Jaguar garage that the parking brake module needs replacing on my 2004 s type. could I fit a second-hand one and if I did would error code disappear once a working one was fitted. Or do I have to buy a new one and get it programmed to the car at the Garage
