Great, I'll have a look and see if there's anything obvious.
Is the module the same one as the Ford Mondeo/Focus?

Hi all,
57 plate 2.2 Estate. The parking sensors are not working. I get a three second beep followed by the light on the roof flashing. I've checked the reverse lamps, both of which are working. I've listened to the front and rear sensors, and all eight of them click.
Does anyone have any experience of this? What is the fault likely to be? Is there a separate sensor module somewhere, or is it all part of the main ECU?
Could really do with some guidance here.
many thanks in advance.

Hey there!
Newbie here, took delivery of a 57 X-Type 2.2 Premium Sport yesterday, and looking forward to my Jag motoring.
Do have a few questions if anyone out there can enlighten me.
Managed to pair my iPhone with the touchscreen sat nav, however, the phonebook has a load of numbers already stored. How do I delete them?
The parking sensor switch sound goes off for 3 seconds and then flashes when I try to activate using the roof switch. manual tells me ther is an error. What should I be looking for to correct this?
Finally, is it possible to acquire a 2017 map DVD for the nav?
Thanks all,
Padster

Hi all,
New to the forum, and Jag ownership. Just picked up a 57 plate X-Type 2.2 Sport Premium Estate, and looking forward to my ownership.
Have a couple of questions though.
I'v paired my phone, to the touchscreen sat nav, but there's a load of phone numbers already stored. How do I delete them, and fill the directory with my numbers?
Secondly, the parking sensor switch beeps for 3 seconds, then flashes, which I understand means a parking sensor fault. Does anyone have any ideas for diagnosis?
Oh yeah, another quick one. Bit of a long shot, but can you get 2017 discs for the sat nav?
cheers,
Padster

Ok, so the rear sensors are working after fitting a different module, although still no front sensors. Is the front speaker the same one which give of the fault warning?
