I apologise most humbly, - I should have said "Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen"!
Sorry Carole.
On another note, - as you appear to be very knowledgeable, - I have chrome wire wheels fitted on the car, which have some rust on them; do you have any idea of how I can get them to look "rust-free" again, please?
Obviously I can use G3 or similar on the bits that I can get to, but there are many bits that are impossible to reach, even using the wife's toothbrush.
Would you know of anything that I can brush or spray on to get them looking good again?

Thank you Gentlemen,
Ironically, on the same morning that I posted this, I saw an advert on e-bay, a chap had just collected a black XJSC, and contacted him.
Apparently the car has only done 24,000 miles, and I have agreed to buy the instrument cluster with circuit board; - that should restore the speedo and left side of the panel.
Thank you anyway.

Hello,
I am looking to source a circuit board for the dash on a 1984 XJS 3.6, apparently the original Jaguar part no. is DAC 3152.
Can anybody help please?
Rusty chrome wire wheels!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my chrome wire wheels back to shiny please?
There are rusty spots that are impossible to reach, even with the wifes' toothbrush.
Chrome polish will sort the bits that are accessible but there are bits that can't be reached.
Is there any product out there that can be brushed or sprayed that will remove the rust without stripping the chrome?
many thanks,
Nigel
