Impact of corner of bumper which has been pushed back Have members ideas on what’s gone on behind the bumper please?? What’s bent? Broken ? Etc Photo-Side view showing bumper corner pushed back Photo- showing end of bonnet closer on impact side but still opens ok Drawings or photos would be really helpful To see what needs doing Part diagram not helpful but showed some sort of crash member across behind bumper Many thanks

Thanks to all for replying going to have to use CTEK on more regularly as not done this before as always.started first time after 3/4 weeks away. Then have put ctek zone for a few hours before taking car out for first run after getting back from the holiday The battery is 2 and a half years old and make same as originally fitted Always double lock but going down to Independent later this week to get advice and battery check . Don’t know if he can check battery drain but will ask as he has all the gear!

Aready have a CTEK but need to buy a decent 10am or larger battery charger as found battery flat after 3/4 weeks away - not happened before as when away 3/4 weeks three times a year it’s always started first time and I’ve just used my ctek to boost it up for a few hours before using again Cannot leave CTEK on whilst away Car is a 2012 v8 XKR coupe with 26k miles and good Varta battery 2.5 year’s old thanks

CTEK charger On XKR 2012 v8 500+ bhp coupe Understand the positive goes to positive terminal on battery but negative to a bolt/ nut head on the chassis ie near to battery Confirm please???

2012 XKR 25k v8 as r you can see a wheel not has sheared off by the tyre dealer all others removed ok and no air gun used understand common problem so will be sorted by my independent in January service suggestions please of good quality OEM aftermarket replacements as cannot afford main dealer price - going to replace everyone! friend in USA suggested ones made for a Toyota and Lexus! But would appreciate other owners help here thank david

Having trouble finding a U.K. supplier as main dealers have no stock as discontinued many years ago looking for some with Leaping Jaguar image on Jaguar name on R logo on Only found non U.K. supplier who wants cash up front any help finding a U.K. supplier would be appreciated

To add to my post advice on a good battery tester to buy please think you can get some that test alternator too? I have seen the sealey bt102 recommended but on an old thread Thankyou david

hi got a low battery warning when out today battery less than 2 years old car used yesterday for short runs in town put my CTEC charger on Went to setting 3 quickly have I connected the negative lead to an ok position as understand it has to be on chassis and not attached to the negative side of the battery how long would I expect it to be on setting 3? thanks

I’m thinking of changing the interior seats - front and rear- on my 2011 XKR coupe same type of seats from the same model- just a different colour leather has anyone any experience of changing the seats and what they would advise in doing the swop over thanks

Hi all Previous owner let black carbon? Deposits build up on the inside of the end of the 4 tail pipes suggestions on how to remove these black deposits as seem to be quite solid

Would avoid both- sorry

With that mileage I would get it checked over fully by a official Jaguar dealership

That’s a good idea as have a set of these wire brushes that go on the drill thanks neighbour suggested oven cleaner and a Brillo pad if anyone has experience of using this?

hi the 2012 XKR I have bought has what I assume are black sooty/carbon deposits on the inside of the quad exhaust tail pipes pretty solid and tried wheel cleaner which doesn’t do much wondered if any members had more success removing these black deposits thanks David

hi My 2012 XKR does not have the “live” view camera on the screen- only the image of the car with the bands to show how close the car is to a object The 2014 cars have a live view showing a real image of the car and the objects around it can this be fitted to my 2011 model ?? thanks

Bought a 2011 XKR coupe with every extra one owner FSH 21000 miles immaculate £25k two years ago Only seen more expensive ones since and with higher mileage So yes !!
