  1. In case it helps any1 else. in an x260 3v6D The Glow plug control module sits under the right side airbox housing. The picture below shows the module after removing the airbox. That pipe makes it unlikely for the module to be removed up through the engine bay, i tried but just not enough wiggle room. I think its best to remove the airbox, unscrew the module, unplug the cables and drop it to the ground at the wheel arch liner. Then reverse to fit now module.

  2. Thanks Thorleif, looks similar relative location as the image I posted. Had another look and pretty sure I have located it. The image I posted is correct, but its directly under the drivers side air box/filter, you can see the edge of it under the airbox and between the airbox and driver's side front wing. From underneath it sits between the right side radiator and the wheel arch liner you can see it through the front slots in the wheel arch liner or from under as seen below in the second picture.

Seems a bit of a stupid place to put this, given how small it is and how much space available in the engine bay.

So to access & replace its either - Remove the right/drivers side air box/filter housing or Remove the wheel and wheel arch liner.

    Pics below top down, its

  3. HI AussieScot, did you locate the relay? My x260 also 2016 3.0D started taking a bit longer to start last couple of weeks. Have received and cleared the error code 'P052F' (Glow plug control module - voltage malfunction) a couple of times. If any1 can spare me some time with the location and part number that would be appreciated!

  4. I had a similar issue, my MY17 does not have a rear key barrel, I also checked behind the number plate. I got access via rear seats, open and pull down center panel, reach in and un clip rear seat release, pull down rear seats and in you go.

I had disconnected my battery, then stupidly closed the boot  😞

  5. Got in through the back seats. Ok to be more open, when i said flat battery i really should have said disconnected battery.

Yes i disconnected it to see if that would help with my live and navigation account not working. Closed the boot as here in the glasgow area an open boot soon fills with water. I wrongly assumed there would be a key whole at the back.. there defo is not.

    Thanks for your suggestion

  6. Hello, loving my car, by far the best driving car I have owned.

    66 plate XF 3.0 D S, with In-control TP

The only issue I have and unable to resolve with Jag support. I have registered an In-control account registered the car and renewed all license. This works as i can use the full remote functions, start lock location etc. The In-control portal lists my car correctly. However when i select Live from the In-control portal it just says "The primary user has not logged in from the vehicle." This is true as in the car when i try to use live it says live not available.

I have registered via the Sat-Nav in the car a jaguar.here.com. However after the account is registered, when I try to sign in, it always says "Sorry. There was a problem on our end. Please sign in later.". I can log into both Jaguar.here.com & account.here.com, as I received the verify your account email. When i try to register the car in my Jaguar.here.com account portal, it verifies my VIN then tells me to log in from the car, that just gets me back to "Sorry. There was a problem on our end.", endless loop. Have deleted profile in the car and deleted all online accounts and re setup, all accounts using the same email address and password.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
