As you may have guessed, I'm also new to the forum and to the experience of owning a Jaguar. I've wanted one since my college years -- oh so long ago -- but owning one was a priority long subordinated to starting a career and a family, paying for a home and a couple of college educations, and so on.
My patience has been rewarded and I finally purchased my first Jaguar nine months ago. It's not a classic Jaguar but it's a beauty nonetheless. It is a 2012 XF Portfolio model in Azurite Blue with Ivory interior. My one-way commute to work of 45 minutes now seems a bit shorter than I always felt it was. And I love that my Jag is relatively rare on the freeways of the SF Bay Area where every other car is either a BMW, a Benz, or an Audi.
I imagine that as I drive by they all must regret having made the purchase decision they made...
Finally, a Jag to call my own...
