  1. I've seen this issue reported and discussed in all of the Jaguar forums, with the frequent comment that it is either a design or a manufacturing fault. My question is that, if this has been known about for the past few years, at least 6 as far as I can see, has anything been done to improve the part so as to prevent this from happening in the future?
    I noticed here JAGUAR 3.0 TDV6 NEW INLET MANIFOLD ROCKER CAM COVERS LHS & RHS XF XJ F-PACE SET | eBay , for example, that this parts supplier is stating that their parts won't suffer from this problem.

  2. Dear all, this may have been covered elsewhere, but I've not been able to find anything that answers this question directly. I've just collected my first Jaguar, a 2010 XF, and, doing a check of less obvious things, I find that the wheel nuts, though I've measured them at 19mm and I'm using a 19mm socket, don't seem to be gripped very well by the socket. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need a more specialist tool? I've put no force on it, so caused no damage, but I'm a bit concerned.
