Thanks for the info , I have been on Google and found something along these lines from an American bloke . I am worried less about it now , I guess the tank vent is lower down than the 530 D that I had before.
Yes I am lucky , and on first impressions a far better ride than the 530 .

Hi I filled up and brimmed it , this morning I found a patch of diesel on the floor just Infront of the rear door on the same side of the filler cap . Only had the car 3 days . XF 3.0d . Any information on what it could be would be great.

Had this error code , total loss of power , now non starting, every thing points towards fuel , range says 203 miles but nothing , unless anyone has any more suggestions . Any help would be appreciated.
