So I have only had my 2013 XF since June, and up until now I thought it was the reception on the DAB radio that was at fault UNTIL I realised that actually it wasn't just the reception which is pretty dire, but also when I plug in my phone to charge it using the 12v front socket the DAB cuts off as though muted, and if I unplug the cable from the phone, it immediately springs back into life. The cable is still plugged into the 12v socket via an adaptor, but not into the phone
Now, i'm not sure just what is happening here, or what is causing it, and any ideas from fellow members would be highly appreciated. I have the phone in a cradle stuck to the windscreen at about the 2 o'clock position of the steering wheel, just above the side air vent.
I was wondering IF I need a shielded USB-C cable, but I've been unable to find one using the usual search

I think I have the same problem, as I had a regas the other week and ws told that it was low by 300g and did seem better at first, but now it doesn't seem to be working from start for at least 10 minutes or so, and like has been said seems better at speed, so I suspect a leak!! As it happens, It's got to go back in for a new battery fitted so I'll ask them to check the pressure again when I'm there as if it has dropped again then I KNOW there is a leek
DAB Radio Interference When Charging Phone

So nothing that I know of, apart from a dashcam into the secondary 12v socket, but it's a distinct loss of signal when plugging in the cable, and then returns as soon as unplugged, so it's definitely an issue with charging the phone!
