I believe the recommendation is between 105000 and 112000 miles.
I know mine is due soon. Personally, I would rather Jaguar did mine for peace of mind, however, I have a back street garage close by who specialises in Jaguar, so I may give them a try as opposed to the dealer. Its a pricey job, especially for a V6!!!
As for the years? The cars I've been looking at are around 80,000 and 11 years old.

Hi, sure this may have been asked before but apologies, new to jaguars. I'm currently looking to purchase a Jaguar XF 3.0d, 2009 - 2011 with around 85,000 miles on the clock. Majority of the cars advertised dont mention anything about cambelts being done, or is everyone just selling them before its due lol? What's the cambelt change intervals? I've also seen online some people talking about some other belts being changed at the same time? Do many people use independent garages for this or is it best to stick to Jaguar garages? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. I have been looking into each cars history. They all seem pretty good, some with higher previous owners. Just that none have any proof of belts being changed unfortunately.
