  1. Wow, thats quite a collection! How on Earth do you get time to drive them all?? I'm quite ashamed to say I had no idea what a Panther Kallista was, a quick google and I'm very impressed! Fantastic looking beast it is. What function is your new jag set to fulfill, is it to be a fun car or be a practical one? Adam.
  2. Welcome to the club Elwyn. Good luck in finding your perfect Jaguar. What car do you drive at the moment? Adam.
  3. Dan, I believe its the code to indicate that the car was unable to run all its sensors/monitors to check all its systems. I'm yet to find a fix though, although I shall keep looking. Maybe a trip to a garage or main dealer would be an idea if the problem persists. Hope this helps. Adam.
  4. Hi Dan. Once again, did your fix work? Wing mirrors can be a pain, can you still operate them by hand? Adam.
  5. Hi Geoff. Your problem intrigued me, so I did some research on it. It looks like quite a common problem. As I understand it, the exhaust is by the nearside front wheel, which is near the air intakes used by the climate control. So as you fire the engine up, the climate control sucks some of that exhaust gas up though the air vents into the cabin. There doesn't seem to be a fix for it, other than maybe not having your aircon on when you start the car. It doesn't seem to be an indicator that something in your car has gone wrong, which is obviously good news. I hope this helps. Adam.
  6. I'm glad you've found a solution to your problem Harrison. Apart from this, how are you finding your X-type? Adam.
  7. Hi jamescraig. I've not been able to find out any more information about your problem, I would suggest looking in the owners manual to see if it mentions coolant fluid levels. If that fails to shed any light on the situation, maybe taking it to a garage would be best, just for piece of mind. Good luck. Adam.
  8. We've decided that we want to feature more forum members cars on the facebook page! If you have any good pictures of your Jaguar, please post them up here. The best ones will get posted on the facebook page for all to see!
  9. Hi BarryS. I think the best thing to do in your situation, would be to purchase a haynes or similar work shop manual. This should give you a better idea of how the door trim is fitted together. It might be the case that you have to remove the door card, this will probably be time consuming but worth doing if it saves you scuffing the door card. I'm sorry I can't give better advice. Good luck. Adam.
  10. I've always had names for my cars, my last was called Roxy (She was moody and temperamental) and my current is called Kitty (Because she has cruise control, which feels pretty futuristic!)
  11. Hi there Mr M. I'm sorry to read about your wife's problems with her XK8. I've had a good root around, and I must concede you don't seem to be able to buy those parts new any more. Your best bet would be to get them second hand from a breakers yard or similar. I have found several breakers yards on ebay, they will most likely have the parts you require. http://www.ebay.co.u...b5ac575e&_uhb=1 This yard specializes in Jaguars, I'd send then a message asking for the parts you require and I'm sure they can help you out. Adam.
  12. Good afternoon fellow Jaguar lovers, I've just joined the moderating team here at the Jaguar owners club. I look forward to sharing all your big cat experiences. Sadly I've yet to own a Jaguar, but ever since seeing my first E-type at Goodwood many years ago I've always wanted one. I look forward to getting to know you all. :) Adam
