Has anyone changed the gas strut on the tailgate of their X Type estate? I can change the tailgate struts easily but the strut for the glass is contained in the roof. Do I have to take the headlining out to get to it does anyone know. If I do then this might not be a DIY job.

Has anyone changed the gas strut on the tailgate of their X Type estate? I can change the tailgate struts easily but the strut for the glass is contained in the roof. Do I have to take the headlining out to get to it does anyone know. If I do then this might not be a DIY job.
