hi can anybody tell me is the handbrake cable adjustable under the car ??
I have fitted new pads and disks been running now for about a month
but the leave still comes up to high and handbrake does not hold.

Hi peter wheels all changed over , but I had to fit some 5mm wheel spacers because the front wheels hit the big calipers
I think it handles better and looks better.
my step son who is a pro racing driver said he would always go for the smaller wheels.

I want to change my exhaust note on my v6.
has any body changed the back boxes to custom made stainless ????
has any body fitted back boxes form another model ????/
any advise , just would like to have a little more rumble noise
just a update got a pair of stainless back boxes fitted from ELITE AND PERFORMANCE OF DERBY great sound now !!!!!!!! and great service from these guys

Just guessing, but I think so. There are three different sizes of wheels available of the S Type. There seems to be no reason why Jaguar would make differing wheels for two models manufactured at the same time.
16" wheels will mean cheaper tyres. ok thanks peter my 17" wheels need a refurb or sell them and as you say cheaper on tyres

ok after not being happy with my brakes, removed wheels etc today and found I had a crack in my front caliper so not good
new caliper and hose fitted and bleed the brakes all better now , a good days work.

its probably only me , but after driving the wifes new citroen all weekend
the brakes on my 2000 jaguar s type fill like they are not working.lot of travel etc
the car passed an mot in dec and I changed and checked pads and disks before mot
does anybody else think the brake pedal spongy etc on there s type are poor ???

I think its down to personal choice and design style really
But if it was me I would go for the 17" as cheaper on tyres and better on looks (filling the arches a little more!)

my s type has 17 " wheels / tyre but the wheels are rough and need a refurb etc
I have be offered some very good 16" wheels to fit straight on.
which are better 17 " or 16 "
any advise ?????

Hi iam going to change the plugs on my s type 3.0 v6
does any body know are the inlet manifold gaskets the same as a v6 x type ????
I was going to change them as well or could I use old ones ????

My head lamps seem to be dis-coloured on the inside of the lense
can it be cleaned ?
has any body had this ?
how do I fix this ?
