  3. bryn my nite cap for over 20years was scottish water. but it made me into a raging bull. doctor was sending me to anger management classes, so i switched to russian water instead. the world is a happier place for it. and the hangovers are not half as bad. (can only drink 4bottles then i have to go to bed) charlie

Well, well, well, I'm glad it ain't just moi.

The after effects are always heavier when I'm up in that neck of the woods, now it could be the holiday mood, however I recon tis just the fresh air haha, and plenty of it...

  4. Took my XKR out for a spin  last Sunday morning all by myself on a road that's used regularly by Richard Hammond, its where I live. A 911 was right close to my rear bumper getting on my nerves waiting for a clear stretch so that he could take me. Not a chance in hell, I was waiting, flicked the Sport mode button and waited for that nice clear stretch myself and let it rip. What a note  Didn't see the 911 again

    Nice one Ken33y old bean,

I don't know the roads you'r referting to, however we have also bumped into said Mr Hammond on occasion whilst visiting in the Ross area as ones daughter used to reside in that neck of the woods.

As for the 911, tis alright having the pennies, the question is can one drive haha???

    cheers for now,

    Bryn. . .

  5. Hi Phill,

Glad it is sorted somewhat.  I am guessing that a quality check has found a minor fault in a component from a supplier  ---  both suppliers and assembly do have fairly strict quality controls, which is good.

I agree that telling the truth in the first place does often prevent bad feeling later.  I worked in the Steel Industry almost all my working life after my small accountancy business was not getting customers due to my refusal not to condone practices that the Inland Revenue [as was] would not approve of.

I hope the sun shines on your daughter's wedding.

    Regards,

    Peter.

    Hear hear...

    cheers,

    Bryn. . .

  6. Afternoon my good man,

I'm already looking forward to a report of the first drive on your own, no distraction, just you, the car (the smell, man the smell!!! Sorry Ian I went all wobbly there for a second), and the. . .

nuff said, over to you haha

    cheers for now

  7. Afternoon my good man,

and welcome to the JOC, which seems like a very nice place to be, as does a Jag.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your venture as you are already alluding to, personally I think they (Jag) hit the spot perfectly, fast or slow quite amazing...

    cheers for now

    once again welcome

    Bryn. . .
