Report X300 Will not start... please save from scrap heap!! in 1994 to 2003 XJ Posted October 22, 2014 Hi, My Dad has a '97 XJ6. 6 weeks ago he tried to start it but it wouldn't fire. It turns over fine and sometimes it will rev up but just conks out. This is what I have tried.... New Starter relaysNew Crank SensorNew Throttle BodyNew Throttle Body Sensor ThingyNew ECUAnd various attempts at bore washing.... Its getting ridiculous now. We really cannot afford to spend out any more money on guess work. Does anyone have any suggestions? If not, does anyone know a vehicle breakers who pay more than £150 in Essex? Please help!!!!
