  1. sorry paul, been stupidly busy with work, if i ain't at at work i'm asleep    cdc was easy to fit, my car had a single lead in the boot and a multi plug, plugged everything in, 20 quid at an indy to activate the cdc loop and bingo sorted !  got all my kit for bluetooth just need to figure out how to fit the black box and microphone   everything is plugged in in the boot, just need to sort the front out.....that's where you come in to the equation paul :D

  2. Have you noticed that you no longer give a sh*t about anything that happens now, I had terrible road rage before I got my s type, now I have none ! I even let bus and lorry drivers out at junctions, can't seem to extend that to audi and BMW drivers though :-)

  3. Yep, got the blue tooth kit for 100 quid, cdc for 80 quid, bracket for cdc etc for 29 quid and a four way cable for 30 quid.?...just waiting for it all to arrive, thinking of the voice thing now !

  4. Barry, I've just checked the official installation instructions for Bluetooth telephone in an S Type and it appears that the loom is in place, no extra wiring required :)

it gets better all the time  :D  a copy of the JEPC would be good, i can then identify which bits i need for bluetooth

just bought a cdc and bracket off flea bay, it seems the plastic thing on the harness acts as a loop  :) just need the blue tooth kit now !

  5. bought my S type with out even thinking of the insurance cost for a v6 td  ;)  insurance comparison sites ranged from £800 to nearly £3000  :o  rang Adrian Flux.......£505 including breakdown cover,  very happy, think they have my custom for a long time, as long as they don't try the extortionate renewal price trick like most other companies do !

  6. i am looking to fit a cdc to my s type 2.7 v6 D 2005, trouble is, i have no idea which one i need and if it will even connect to my cd player  ........can anyone help me with this please ?

  7. hi all, having recovered from a brain haemorrhage and started a "new" life by moving ooop north and getting back to work, i decided to buy something i have always wanted.......a Jag :)  now the proud owner of an S type 2.7 V6 D auto that i      it's not got everything i wanted but i'm hoping to add the extras during my ownership
