Cheers your a gent, as I've just bought car it's going into a indi in stockport on Thursday as climate no good and keep getting eml on which is coming up maf sensor. So just going make sure it all gets sorted and of course at car dealers expense. So soon as all sorted I'm going to be looking at a few upgrades.

If I connect a cdc to the loom in picture will Cdc be up and running?

No it's a bear cupboard, but the changer I'm looking at is in its cradle plus cradle for satnav. So if I remove my audio unit from dash is there a loom to connect to or maybe behind glove box?so does that cable I've pictured go into cdc? Then what had to be done up front of car IE connections ect.

hi all. My car doesn't have a cdc so thinking of fitting one as can be picked up pretty cheap. What do I need? Obviously cdc, is there a loom already in car to connect to will I need optical lead ect. Any advice appreciated.

Do you have to take things apart to get at the wires? I can actually see the dccv where the plug is and the three wires but looks like a pig to get at.

cheers. Took it to North Wales jag today put it on diagnostic few faults coming up regarding climate, they can't do anything till over a week so going try get it in elite jags stockport next week, trader I bought it of is footing the bill so not worth me getting involved.

first time I've been in my stype at night since getting it this week. I've noticed the box that displays the temp is lighting Fairly bright. The box that displays the audio is dull, is this correct are they meant to be different. Cheers phil

hi all. Is there anybody that is local ish to Flintshire/Denbighshire or stockport. That could sort a prob out on my stype. It's blowing hot air driver side and cold air passenger side. Been told on forum it's more than likley broken wire going into dccv. I can tough the plug on dccv but I'm unable to get of and I don't want to damage anything. Cheers phil

Anybody know if I fit a touch screen satnav face to my 02 stype will everything work? I know satnav won't work without dvd drive ect fitted but would I be able to get audio climate ect what I'm asking is it plug and play?
