And yet another bad design
Why o why when they design them around the drawing boards just say to each other. Eg lets design changing air filter is like other cars, just snap to clips up and hey presto the air box lid comes off. Oh no lets design it so you have to take slam panel off then disconnect all the air intake pipe. Crazy. And as you say Harv lets design it so you have to take wiper arm of to change the wiper blade!!! Just what are thesePeople getting paid for.

Is this sign of flat battery?
Cheers. The bolt is flimsy with it being long and thin, I've sprayed from top of bolt and underneath car still no use, maybe I'll have to cut the bolt.

And yet another bad design
Trying get battery out, stupid long bolt going through bottom of floor so extremely exposed to the elements resulting in rusting and fusing so can't get out. To change air filter is a bit of mission compared to all other cars I've had. Personally think jaguar are not as good as made out in design and quality sorry guys but that's my opinion.

Is this sign of flat battery?
It's a jaguar battery that's on, don't know how old it is? Just tried to take battery out but the bolt that is vertical at left side of battery won't seem to unscrew don't want to force it, also read when battery disconnected handbrake needs resetting, anti trap on windows need resetting. Can't find how to do in handbook, it says section 4 for handbrake and section 3 for windows but can't see anything relating to this. Anyway can't get battery out anyway

Changing air filter
By looking at that, the actual air intake pipe is part of the air box lid the section where maf goes into. If you go on YouTube and search how to change air filter on jaguar s type. See what you think? I'm just going out now have a look at mine

Changing air filter
Hi all. Just been glancing on YouTube, came across how to change air filter, well what a pain in the but never seen how much you have to disassemble just to change air filter. Personally thinks it's a terrible design. What do you all think

What retro-fits / modifications have you done.
Get some prices together for what the cost would be for all things missing of description then hit them with that
-
What retro-fits / modifications have you done.
If they have advertised it with all that stuff then it must have it, and it must be in a good working order. Or you have the right to refuse the car. IE get your money back. Regarding those retro' you want to do don't worry Paul will get back to you shortly I'm sure as he knows his stuff on retro fitting and he is very very helpful chap. Good luck phil
