right it's a strange one to me, I've got cold air coming out of passenger vents, warm/hot coming out of my side???? All display is showing low on both sides so would expect same cold air coming out of both sides any ideas. Cheers phil

Update. Just got my new jag home great BUT I've noticed the right hand side of the car stays hot and passenger side cold strange one so there's cold air coming out of passengers vents and warm/hot out of mine

I've been driving a Lexus ls430 for last four years so I've got to get that out of my head when test driving the jag although jags are a nice car they can't touch Lexus, I know I shouldn't be saying this on here. I've had plenty of jags in the past and fancy another go at one

hi all. Fingers crossed picking stype up this morning, I've been looking for about three weeks now viewed and drove plenty but they've not been described honestly. So annoying to travel miles and they have just blaintantly lied. Any way the one today is 2002 2.5 red, looked at it yesterday but didn't get chance to test drive as I had to get to work but inside looks like it's not even been sat in it's like new. Outside is excellent apart from a couple small bubbles on front rim of driver wing so my mate has body shop so that's ok. 109.000 miles full service history plus invoices ect. So just test drive now and if ok will be owner of 2.5 stype later.

would there by any chance jaguar put the satnav wiring loom in even though it does not have it? I have a ford transit and the wiring loom is top spec so if I have any extras fitted loom is already there.

To be honest I've just give it a test drive but only a very short one, I'll try give it a long drive tomorrow. Car seemed a little load but that might be me coz the last 4 years I've had a Lexus ls430 which are whisper silent. But she is a lovely looking jag and in ex condition gear change didn't seem very smooth but as I say I'm used to Lexus which you only know it's changed gear by drop on rev counter.

just looking at one tomorrow. Is there anything I should look out for, 94000 miles. Are gearbox good on these or do they have there faults

Update. I bought car I got about 10mile down road eml came on, took it straight back and got my money back so I'm in the hunt again for another

Hi all. Would 170.000 be to higher mileage for these cars? Or are they pretty much bullet proof.

Is it big job? I noticed it's saying on advisory rear brake discs pitted could this be the prob?

hi all. Just test drove a 52 2.5 stype, after about a mile the vsc light came on also something like no disc something came up as well. After turning engine of then restarted both were gone but I am sure they would be back, is this a big fix? Also on mot checker it's had a fail on hand brake then passed that was on the one before last mot. Last mot gave advosory on hand brake saying right on the limit needs adjusting or repairing. Is this another worry or big repair job. Any advice Asap please. Phil

The car wasn't far away, it was mint just had a bit of mis Fire a bit lumpy, any way left a deposit as he said would sort it out no problem. Aweek later still not been looked at by a macanic. Sent my deposit back

Update NOT GOT ONE. Another total time waster, is it me?

can anybody help I've just put a deposit on a stype 1999 it has satnav voice command ect ect. It had a phone button can my mobile connect to this system or is it just factory fit. Cheers phil

Update. GOT ONE. It was on eBay. 1999 stype like new. Absolute minter. 4500 miles one owner, I have a question it has satnav voice command ect ect. There is a phone button there but Is this for factory fit phone can my phone be paired to it. Is it Bluetooth?

Hi peter. I'm only looking for a reasonable stype around 1999 as I had one years ago and loved it. But I want a good one as I don't keep them long and it will be easier to sell. I've had stype, xtype, xj's think the best one I had was stype with all Arden extra's IE body kit alloys everything cost me a fortune, so I don't spend much now as was sick of loosing money. Think going looking at one later keep you posted. Phil

Your 100% right, but I still think there's people out there will lie through there back teeth. I've just asked to look another one but he says can't view till wendsday as he's working, well why advertise something for sale if your not around. I just give up now. Anybody got a horse or pony for sale
