I concur with what has been said here. We are still waiting for them to increase the speed limit and I think it would be a good idea. Why are they dragging their feet in enforcing this?

Dave and Giles, I know that the JEC club organise either a caravan or camping for its members at Le Mans. A few years ago we hired a caravan on site which is a much more civalised way of doing things. We hope to be able to go next year too, depending on funds and a few other factors.

Well with the weather we are getting now, I'd say hot chocolate!! But I only really like the Mr Whippy ice cream.

Some good names here. Im thinking of calling our Jaguar 'kitty' what do you think or can someone suggest a better name? :)

Hi Evaristas, no not sold the XJ8, it was written off in an accident on the 4th May, we had an XF for a month until we got our new XJ350 TDVi 2.7. We love the car, but still miss the XJ8 as well.
I see we both now have the same model. See you on Sunday hopefully at the breakfast meet. :)

Our XJ8 got written off at the begining of May so we have replaced her with a 2007 XJ TDVi 2.7 :) and as we have only had her for about a month, we are still calling her Stunning!! But in the meantime I need to think of an appropriate name for her.
The MK9 is called the Beast!! As it is such a big car.

Hi and welcome, I agree with Sanchez, Jaguars are great cars. Have been an owner since about 1998.

Hi and welcome. We are with the JEC, but would love to join in on any of your region events if that is ok with you. :)

Im glad I make you smile. ;)
I just have to look or get into one of our Jags to make me smile (yes I know, easily pleased). :P

Hi and welcome, that car sounds awsome. Do you have any pics of it that we can see? :)

Last weekend we went out for dinner on Saturday and had people round for dinner on Sunday.
This weekend coming, we have a 60th birthday bash to go to Saturday and will stay over until Sunday. :)

I have not seen the film either.
I will be interested to find out what the film was about as well. :)

Apart from work which takes up a lot of time, we love to arrange and attend Jaguar or car club tours/trips/events.
Long walks with our dog who has the nickname of 'monster'!
Reading the occassional book when I get a chance. :)

I found out about this forum from Facebook and the person who mentiond it is not on this forum as far as I can see.
But the word will get round quicker in places like that.
Look forward to seeing the stickers.

I'd just like to add a warm welcome to everyone joining and look forward to getting to know people with the same interests - e.g. Jaguars! B)
What do you call your Jaguar?

Just thought, might call her the 'red devil' or just her colour name which is 'Radiance' red.
