Hi Ray,
my 2009 2.2D SE Sovereign has manual power folding mirrors which can operate by pressing button on drivers door and I have just fitted DRL 's (plug and play off eBay £26.90) as per profile picture via a relay wired direct to battery (eBay £9.99) comes on with ignition and has 12 sec delay after ignition switched off, can attach one wire to headlight feed so they go off when headlights come on, but not done that yet.
Hope that helps

Currently I have them as Led DRL's not Foglights via a relay which turn them off when headlights come on, which is I am told is the current regulation, but I still see new vehicles with both on at the same time.

Hi Ian, just found what that connector was for, "Jaguars since the late 1980's have Battery Isolation Devices and the ignition switch has a circuit to energize the relay. Once the device is removed by the Selling Dealer, the device is removed and sent back to Jaguar for re-installation. The wire is tucked back into the harness or plugged into a non conductive harness connector". I am going to test to see if it works off the ignition.

I still wash mine first, because I still don't trust it not to scratch it, but using it as a polish is brilliant, windows, rubbers, bodywork doesn't leave any white residue just a brilliant finish.

Hi Scott, I have never had a jag before buying mine about 6 weeks ago a 2.2d wiith 38k and wish I had done it sooner I get 47 mpg on long runs but most of mine is local journeys, golf club and back it drops to about 37.8. I am sure you will enjoy yours and have many trouble free motoring.

Are you using them as fogs or as daytime running lights?

Easy peasy just removed wheel, then 3 fastenings on wheel arch, pulled back to access fog lights, two torx screws and fogs out, and new LED,s in, less than hour, bit fiddly on drivers side but job done.

Hope it's as good as it sounds just ordered the 3 litre bottle offer.

Now decided to buy a pre wired relay and run from battery so it conforms with regulations
Drivers Window

Hi, can anyone help suggest solution drivers window goes down in 4 inches at time but won't come back up unless I flick the switch rapidly then it comes up in 3 inch at a time I have changed the switch pack for a second hand one (£10.00 Bolton Jag breakers ) but exactly the same happens so I am thinking to much of a coincidence to be switch fault also the hand trap feature doesn't work ( ouch ) any body had similar problems ? Could it be the motor ?
TIA
Andy
