Hi ,I am a new member and as a fairly recent owner of a very nice XK8 convertible I would like to compare notes on the ride and handling of the car. On mine the suspension seems quite hard as you would probably expect of a sports car . The ride on motorways and smooth surfaces is excellent but the car seems to suffer on uneven or pitted road surfaces and every bump is transmitted through the steering wheel and the body. There is a constant slight vibration on the steering wheel at all times and potholes seem to threaten to move the car. As I also have a 2003 Jag S-type which has a superb ride and handling the XK seems a bit disappointing. Any other owners comments will be much appreciated.
