Hi All,

My 2006 S Type fuel lid cover  operates via a solenoid, switch to open is below the steering column and the release works fine. The mechanism works fine, but the black plastic pin is sticking and is not fully returning in order to locate the lid. Does anyone have a fix, I have tried lubricating the plastic pin but it still sticks about half way in. Is it easy to replace the whole unit, I looked in the boot but there is no access. I think the access is by removing the lid but I am not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have replaced the windscreen blades twice, but I am still hearing a squeaking/screeching sound as the drivers side blade reaches the top of its cycle, just before it goes back down again. Can anyone advise. The blades are aftermarket, not original Jaguar, could that be the problem?

Hi everyone, 

I need help with my S-Type windows. The problem is that after turning off the ignition and locking the car, all four windows go down on  their own. 

Last night I locked the car, all four windows were up, this morning, all four windows were down, I don't understand how. This has happened now three or four times.  I need your help please.

No it is definitely a flapping type noise.

Hi there, My S-Type has an unusual flapping noise that comes from behind the dash. It happens sometimes even after the engine has been turned off which is even more unusual. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there everyone, I am new to this forum.

I recently purchased an  S-Type Jaguar 2006 model, petril 3.00 litre. It is fitted with 235/40ZR18 95W tyres and I was wondering if these are the correct size for this car as I have a tyre noise problem.?
