  1. Hi joe.

First clay your car to prep the surface and use tar remover . If money isn't to much of a concern I recommend Swissvax Onyx and Cleaner fluid regular. Next would be Wax Addict  Vitreo/Quartz then IGL Premier Spray Silica

I'll try to do a demo and buffing techniques video for the highest shine.

Alternatively Glass Coatings such as IGL Quartz means it doesn't need polishing for 2 years but is professional install product.

Attached is the Jaguar XF we coated in IGL Quartz

Any Queries feel free to drop me a text or call (possibly text before with a suitable time to call back) on 07814167898

  2. Hi Peter,

Once again I apologise for the lateness of my reply.

If you want to prep it you'll need.

    Bilt and Hamber clay

    IGL Precoat

    IGL Premier

    IGL Ecowash

Premier is a spray on sealant. So every time you wash the car just do your first pass drying then spray premier onto the panel and use as a drying aid.

Once the whole car is done buff the paint work for high shine. It's a 3 month protection.

I'll try and do a topic on the many different types of protection. And ease of application

  3. Hi Gents,

    Hi Steve,

It is called Supernatural Hybrid from Supernatural car care. It is a sealant wax to be used after a spray preparation. I think you can buy the kit.  I won it two years ago at a club meet on Derbyshire, the best car on the day.

It is a top end detailing product - just look at their site on the internet  --   it has everything from £6.95 to a full set of almost  all their products for £499.

It really needs three coats after using the spray on preparation then you just wash and dry and come back next year! It does protect form rain.

    Regards,

    Peter.

Thats actaully a low surface energy tension meaning its hydrophobic qualities are low

  6. in swindon we (Redguard & Aspect) are the only 2 approved installers of coatings.

when having it done PLEASE make sure your car is coated indoors and by an Approved professional.
    no approval means no warranty.

many people are installing coatings without approval.
    without correct setup
    without correct enviroment.

Peter within IGL we would be your closest Installers.

In incorrect hands coating can ruin your vehicle finish.

    the F-type looks superb!

  7. polymer coatings are the best way to protect any vehicle long term and still keep its gloss.

there are multiple coatings on the market available with only some being available to professional users only.
in the Swindon area there is Aspect and Ourselves who both Provide coatings.

We Provide IGL Kenzo 10H 5 Year Coating (1 of 3 Approved users in UK).

The pictures attached are of Jaguar XF Corrected and Coated in Quartz 3-4 Year 9H coating for £400 including Wheels, Plastics and all Glass.
