Hi Folks, what is your opinion on the following: Car was totally out of power and I was told it was not firing on one full bank of cylinders.
Got call today to say inlet manifold was removed to access spark plugs which were found to be sitting in (rain) water. I asked how that was possible and I was advised bad design where water had run off the shelve area under the windscreen and filled the plug wells!
I don't know much about how the spark plugs sit, but is this possible?
I don't know the set up of the inlet manifold but if that has water also flowing through it and wasn't sealed properly when the spark plugs were changed a few months ago, then this to me would be a more logical explanation.
Thoughts and comments appreciated.

Hi Andy,
Car was parked at a friends and I haven't been aware of any massive rainfall or pressure washing. Garage says drains are clear as I did ask that.
Just strange that the whole of that side was not working. Is there any water running through the Inlet manifold that could have leaked onto them?
Thanks
Douglas
