I only do around 4k miles a year max as in a long distance driver n away a lot

I suggest you go on to one of the comparison sites.

 

I got a good quote from both Tesco and SwiftCover, and I went with the latter.

 

I would also suggest that you omit things like a courtesy car after a claim, as you would not miss the car if you are away quite a lot.
