My x types drivers side window does not respond to global closing all the others close but the drivers side just stays open I have to switch on the egnition and close it with the button has any body come across this and fixed it if so can u let me know wat u did to put it right .cheers.

Welcome to the Club, Paul.

I have not experienced your problem, and I just wondering if something in the mechanism is sticking.

I always start with the cheapest solution which is a good shot of WD40. Try that and see what happens.
