Hi I always completely clean the wheels on my cars but have never applied any thing after to protect our make cleaning easier next time. I know some people Polish and wax the but I am wondering if the specific products for sealing wheels are any good. Cheers

hi paul try auto glyms extra gloss protection its a clear liquid . i have it on my car &wheels (black alloys) charlie

Auto glym is quite good.

I have just bought some Alloy gators to help with curbing due to a nice fire engine literally pushing me up a curb.

tony i fitted trims4rims earlier this year. a sticky sponge tape. great ive hit the kerp once or twice in that time not a mark on the alloys& the spongie tape is still on. tony if you havnt done so all ready i think you should look at phils comments under probs at the factory on this site. he is to get his trim replaced by jaguar as its not what he orderd. charlie

Twice a year I remove the wheels and give them a good coating of Turtle Wax in a wax format rather than liqued. I've done this to a number of cars over the last few years and it seems to protect the wheel from the likes of brake dust etc along with giving the alloy a bright finish
