Just saying hi. New to the site so thought I'd be polite and introduce myself. Live in North Yorkshire, just bought a 2002 S type 2.5.

    Hi Neil, Welcome to the Club.

     

    You will enjoy your s type and the 2.5 engine is a very good power unit, eclipsed a bit by the 3 litre.  A friend of mine had the 2.5 engine in his s type, and I had the same engine in my x type and never a mechanical problem.
