XJSC project

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm New to the world of Jag ownership after recently buying a 1986 XJSC. It needs a fair bit of work doing to it, have got going with it but have hit a few sticking points I hoped someone could help with.....can anyone recommend a mobile windscreen seal replacement service? Autoglass has already been rejected.

Thanks in advance for suggestions

Welcome to the Club, Geoff,

The AA also have a similar service to Autoglass and might be worth a call.

I have not come across any other mobile services for windscreens, but I would suggest googling around a bit and you could find an expert in that field.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi and welcome

google windscreens in your area. not many like doing jags because of all the chrome trims etc.

how are the scuttles? you may find a lot of rot around the base of the window frame, if thats the case it will also be in the bulkhead below. sorry to sound like a bad apple but i have just done one and seen many in the same shape.
