Hi Richard, and welcome to the club.

I had a similar experience with a Rover Sterling automatic some years ago and found that a front tyre was the problem.

Similarly with my X type after a pothole incident --  a new pair of front tyres and the tracking corrected cures it.

Regards,

Peter,

P.S.  My X type was the same colour as yours  ---   suits the car!

Not related to Jaguar in particular but tracking is always the first thing to do and mine need doing to  :(

Hi Steve,

Tracking is a very important little job that I am willing to spend £30 on every now and then, and certainly every time I get new tyres.

Hi Richard,

Having got the obvious reasons for the wobble out of the way, Jim has suggested the other possible reasons for it  ---  tyre or rim.  Worth checking out.
