Will pick up my first jag on 1st may.It is a 3.0 diesel premium luxury 245bhp 2010 one owner 35000miles from main dealer with 2 years warranty can't wait

Welcome to the Club, Keith.

That sounds like a nice car and with a good warranty.  My local Stratstone Main dealer is offering a two year warranty at the moment but I am enjoying my S Type, which still gets quite a bit of admiration, even in the local supermarket car parks.

The 3.0 litre Gemini Diesel is a very good engine, and gets a very good MPG, particularly if you fill up with premium diesel rather than supermarket diesel.  A premium car like the best fuel!

Enjoy the Jaguar experience.

Regards,

Peter.

Welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club Keith, I'm sure you are waiting in anticipation to go along pick up your new car and drive it home. I do not have a diesel Jaguar having a 4.2 V8 petrol instead however, I do have a daily run around for work which is a 2.7ltr twin turbo diesel and I find it excellent even though its made by a Jaguar rival. It is returning in excess of 50mpg on A and B roads which I find well impressive, on motorways its even better therefore, I would expect you to be getting the same fuel economy with the Jaguar 3ltr

keith. try this out when you get it. put into sport then dynamic mode  woooof
