Does above car have map, maf sensor or both or are they the same thing????

It will have either a map (manifold absolute pressure) or a maf (mass air flow) sensor but not both.

Not sure which is fitted to a 2.5.

It's just that I've had eml come on and go of a few times, and when it was at North Wales jag last week it was on diag check and I can't remember if he said it was coming up maf or map? I'm sure it's maf as it looks the same as my transit?

It'll be a maf sensor then more commonly known as a air flow meter.

Lots of ford bits under the bonnet unfortunately.

Is the car running ok??

Got it wrong , it's the same as what was in my Lexus different from my transit
